It’s official! I have a favorite hat design. And it turns out knitter’s have a favorite hat design too.
If you follow me on Instagram or listen to me on the Geminate Podcast, I’m sure you’ve noticed that I have a favorite hat – my Hot Chocolate Hat (Ravelry link). I’ve just updated the pattern for 2022!! I had fun taking new pictures and even learned how to make an Instagram Reel just for this hat. The Hot Chocolate Hat combines a simple cable with a mock cable in an all-over repeat. Although the cables look complicated, the pattern repeat is easy to work. And it turns out knitter’s have a favorite hat too! My Rowan Hat (Ravelry link) – it has been consistently showing up near the top of page 2 of Hot Right Now cabled hats since it released in November of 2021! The Rowan Hat features knits, purls and simple cables to form textured diamonds on a background of stockinette stitch. Perfect for a gift!
