The Lavinia Shawlette is now available! The Lavinia Shawlette is a simple crescent shawl worked in fingering weight yarn with a lacy Roman Stripe at the bottom. Lots of stockinette stitch makes this a great project to take on the go.
The Lavinia Shawlette uses very nearly all of one fingering weight ball or about 420 yards (100 g) to finish.
Sample shawls knit in Araucania Yarns Huasco Sock in the color 1001 Capuchinbird.
And Malabrigo Mechita in the color 227 Volcan finished with 20 yds [18 m] of complementary DK weight yarn on the Bottom Edging and Bind Off.
