Named Winter Birch because the cables evoke the twisting limbs of birch trees visible in the winter after leaf drop. Written in 7 sizes. Cables charted and written.
The sample garment shown is a Size L and used 480 g or just under 1230 yards of Brown Sheep Prairie Spun DK (100% Wool) in the color DK10 Rain Cloud. I’m very grateful for the yarn support I received from the Brown Sheep Company for this one in their Prairie Spun DK in the color Rain Cloud.
I really enjoyed the loft while knitting with this yarn and am amazed at how warm the sweater feels.
