Tallgrass Knitting: April 2022

Here is a look at the new pieces I’ve added to Tallgrass Knitting (my Etsy shop) recently. Mainly I’ve been busy behind the scenes curating supplies for new Knitting Tool Kits!

I added one new full-size knitting tool kit this month and I’m super excited about it! The Sugar Skull Knitting Tool Kit is packed with the same essential tools for your knitting as my other kits!!! I’ve been slowly gathering just the right pieces and I’m super happy with this curated collection of knitting tools in each kit. I’ve collaborated with Sunrise Grove for these amazing Sugar Skull wooden needle gauges made exclusively for Tallgrass Knitting! And with Zoe’s Bag Boutique for the zippered and lined skulls in hats bag! I love these kits because they pull together all of my favorite knitting tools into one sturdy and compact container. Plus you might love that each kit comes out to be more than a 35% discount from buying the tools individually!

For more details about all the bits included and specific details/sizes, follow this link to the Sugar Skull Bag Knitting Tool Kit.

And……….I’m super excited to share that I also started offering Tiny Tin Tool Kits!

I love these kits because they pull together a few of my favorite knitting tools into one sturdy and tiny tin – each tiny tin contains a daisy-cutter yarn snip, a small straight blunt needle (size 22 or 20 mm), a small bent blunt needle (about 1.9″ in length) and 25 stitch markers (12 removable clip-lock stitch markers, 12 removable metal gourd markers and a 1 Mini-set of three handmade stitch markers).

The Dissent Tiny Tins include a Dissent Collar miniset and the Wildflower Tiny Tins include a Butterfly miniset. At $12 each, these tiny tin tool kits are a great value! To start with I’m offering six different choices in these tiny tins — three Dissent Tiny Tins with different RBG quotes on the inside and three Wildflower Tiny Tins with different wildflowers on the top and a monarch butterfly on the inside. For the wildflower tins, I was careful to choose prairie wildflowers that monarch butterflies need to survive.

That’s it for this month. Please be kind to yourself and others. Take care and happy knitting!
