New Release: Ria Sweater

The Ria Sweater pattern is now live! (Please note the links throughout this post are to the Ravelry listings unless otherwise noted.) If you don’t use Ravelry, here is the link to Ria Sweater at Tallgrass Knitting (my Etsy shop).

The Ria Sweater combines a cabled round yoke with complementary textured edging on the body and sleeves for a chic finished sweater.

Ria is worked top-down with simple stockinette between top and bottom cable panels. Written in 7 sizes with shaping and positive ease for a relaxed fit. Cables written and charted.

Named Ria from the Spanish word meaning “from the river’s mouth” because the cables evoke both the gentle flow of water and the Southwest petroglyphs that represent a river. This sweater was originally published as the Clare Pullover in the Love of Knitting Winter 2017 magazine. The rights have released back to me so I’m now free to rework the pattern and publish it!

The Ria Sweater pattern is available on Ravelry, LoveKnitting and Tallgrass Knitting (my Etsy shop). Sign up here for my newsletter to receive new pattern updates and exclusive discounts.
