We just took a quick trip to Pittsburgh for the husband’s company picnic. We had a blast! There was a Regatta going on so we walked down to the Allegheny River the first evening for the boats and again the second night for fireworks. We took a Ducky Tour and the smaller boy got to drive while we were on the water for a bit. We met lots of the husband’s work friends. We ate at the Ten Penny which is a Pittsburgh icon. The boys and I went to the Carnegie Natural History Museum — this time they had an extra exhibit on Poisons which was extra cool. And we walked to a Pirates baseball game. The Pirates game was the most fun I’ve had at a baseball game ever!!
As an added bonus we stayed in the downtown area and could walk almost everywhere. So I hit my 10,000 steps 2 of the 3 days we were there!
