This year I didn’t make any New Years resolutions. I’m a big fan of lists and of recording intentions on paper to hold myself accountable. It felt truly strange not to write any resolutions. Instead we had some changes to our normal annual New Years Eve plans and that left us home for New Years Day. So I decided to start 2017 as I mean to live 2017.
To that end on January 1st I went on a walk with the dog.
We played a long family board game.
I worked on a design and read.
I wrote in my journal.
We went on a family First Day Hike at a nearby state park and ran into friends.
It was a good day. So here’s to a year full of walking and gaming and designing and reading and writing and hiking and spending time with friends and family!
